INVITATION TO BID

SEALED BIDS: The Project Management and Development Branch will receive Sealed Bids at 707 Third Street, 2nd Floor reception area, West Sacramento, California 95605, before 2:00 P.M., February 13, 2020, and then followed with a public opening and reading of the Bids at the above address for the following project:

PARKING GARAGE RESTRIPINGOFAM LOT #88 DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES
SAN FRANCISCO, SAN FRANCISCO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA PROJECT NUMBER: 5025

The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manual, and Addenda as may be issued prior to bid opening date.

Scope of Work:

1. Remove existing underground parking garage striping on floors P1 & P2. Re-stripe to refresh parking space delineation. Includes direction arrows, stop line and wording and special stall label/wording, “Reserved” “Compact” etc.
2. Install new signage and striping for accessible parking stalls and access aisles on floor P1 to current standards.
3. Additional work shown on these plans and described in specifications.

Readvertisement: This is a readvertisement of a Project for which bid opening was canceled. No revisions were made to scope of original work and Drawings and Project Manual (dated October 2019), including Addenda, remain same as originally issued.

License: Contractors’ State License Classification required to bid Project: A or C-32.

Availability of Funds: Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds through the State’s normal budget process and/or transfer of funds to the Department of General Services through the Architecture Revolving Fund.

Pre-bid Site Inspection: Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors having attended the MANDATORY pre-bid site inspection tour on January 30, 2020 at 11:30 A.M., at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) – State Parking Underground Garage Lot #88, located at 505 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, CA 94102. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented. Prime Contractors are encouraged to have their Key Administrator and DVBE office coordinator attend to receive this information and to have their questions answered. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
