May 30, 2019, and then followed with a public opening and reading of the Bids at the above
Address for the following project:

The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manual, and Addenda as may
be issued prior to bid opening date.

Scope of Work: Major components of Project Work consist of: Demolition, new interior partitions, finishes, doors, frames and hardware, signage, new casework, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, power, lighting and controls, security, telephone/data, audio/visual, CCTV, wiring, cable, panel boards, switchgear and related work. Termination of power, telephone and data at new Modular Systems Furniture (MSF) is part of this Contract. The MSF procurement, assembly and installation is not part of this contract and will be completed by the State.

License: Contractors’ State License Classification required to bid Project: B.

Availability of Funds: Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds through the State’s normal budget process and/or transfer of funds to the Department of General Services through the Architecture Revolving Fund.

Pre-bid Site Inspection: Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors having attended the MANDATORY pre-bid site inspection tour on April 26, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at Ronald M. George State Office Complex, located at 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102. All bidders are required to proceed to the Building Manager’s Office, Suite 2600, to sign in and clear security. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented. Prime Contractors are encouraged to have their Key Administrator and DVBE office coordinator attend to receive this information and to have their questions answered. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
