PROJECT NUMBER 1893

Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Removing six (6) rooftop gas/electric packaged units and replacing with six (6) new rooftop gas/electric units with economizers and CO2 sensors. Removing one (1) rooftop packaged cooling unit with humidifier and replacing with one (1) new rooftop packaged cooling only unit. Furnish and installation of new supply diffusers and return registers. Installation of a new energy management system (EMS) with remote monitoring/control. Removal and replacing of two (2) Rooftop exhaust fans. Balancing of the new HVAC units and exhaust fans. Cleaning of all existing ductwork. Disconnecting the lighting controls of existing exterior light fixtures both on building and site controlled by timer. Rewiring of the existing exterior light fixtures to be controlled by the new EMS timer.

Contractor’s State License Classification required to bid the project: B or C-20

Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.

Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid site inspection tour on 4/13/2019 at 2:30 P.M., at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at the Long Beach Department of Motor Vehicles Field Office, located at 3700 E. Willow Street, Long Beach, CA 90815. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. The DVBE participation requirement for this project is 3%. Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion.
