Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Removal and dispose of two existing back-up diesel engines and replace with two new units, including batteries, battery charger, controller, conduit, cabling, driveshaft and coupling. Coordinate with LADWP representative for control, input and output signal requirements to maintain the existing operation.

License required to bid the project: B

Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.

Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on February 27, 2018, at Fish Springs Hatchery, 215 Fish Springs Road, Big Pine, Inyo County, CA. Inspection tour will begin at 10:00 A.M. The State’s requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion.

Pre-bid Site Inspection: A Second, MANDATORY, site inspection tour will begin on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, beginning at 10:00 A.M., at the Fish Springs Hatchery , located at 215 Fish Springs Road, Big Pine, Inyo County, CA. This is an opportunity for any “B” license contractors who did not attend the Mandatory pre-bid Site Walk on February 27, 2018 to visit the site and inspect existing site conditions. “B” licensed Contractors who attended the Mandatory pre- bid Site Inspection on February 27, 2018 have satisfied the Mandatory site inspection requirement and are not required to attend the Pre-bid Site Inspection tour on March 28, 2018.
